The Wright Foundation hosted its first Transformational Leadership Symposium November 20 and 21 at Ravinia Festival with over 150 dynamic, innovative, forward-thinking leaders from across the country.

Highlights from the symposium included:
Keynote Speaker Brad Anderson, former CEO of BestBuy, spoke on his experiences leading the country's largest consumer electronics retailer Friday evening. Saturday afternoon he was interviewed by Bob Wright to explore more fully the leadership lessons he'd learned.
Dr. Ron Riggio, Henry R. Kravis Professor of Leadership and Organizational Psychology, Director of the Kravis Leadership Institute and Author of Transformational Leadership, outlined the core qualities of a transformational leader: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration.
Dr. Don Beck, Leading Global Authority on Value Systems and Societal Change, outlined his Spiral Dynamics™ model of organizational change, as well as inspiring participants with stories of his work with Israel and Palestine, South Africa, and other societies in transformation.
Drs. Judith and Robert Wright, Co-founders of the Wright Foundation for Transformational Leadership, explored the transformational leader's inner journey of change.
