Mission
The purpose of the Wright Foundation for Transformational Leadership is to transform the nature of organizations in the world through developing, researching, and transmitting the principles of transformational leadership with a unique emphasis on personal transformation as the starting point for transforming our businesses, our communities, and our world. A non-profit organization, the Wright Foundation grants the Transformational Leadership Award as well as supporting research, graduate education, and symposia synthesizing personal and organizational transformation and providing transformational learning for transformational leaders.
Summary of Activities
The Wright Foundation for Transformational Leadership, a 501(c)3 organization, promotes the study, development, expanding recognition, and impact of transformational leadership. The Foundation funds graduate research, transformational leadership awards, educational loans, scholarships, and symposia to support the development and dissemination of cutting-edge, forward-thinking human performance technology, philosophy, and methodology.
The Foundation sponsors the Transformational Leadership Award as well as the Transformational Leadership Symposium. The Transformational Leadership Award was created to promote the study and application of transformational leadership by annually recognizing an established leader who embodies the principles and practices of transformational leadership. The annual Transformational Leadership Symposium aims to bring together thought leaders as well as those aimed at living the principles of transformational leadership. The goal of the Symposium is to develop transformational leaders as well as to raise the awareness of the need for transformational leadership in our world.
In the arena of graduate research, the Foundation provides loans and scholarships for students of the Wright Graduate Institute for the Realization of Human Potential, offering master’s and doctoral degrees in transformational leadership, learning and coaching.
